Star Kollywood actor-director Dhanush is ready to enthrall his fans with back-to-back directorial ventures. While Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) is gearing up for its theatrical release on February 21, Idly Kadai will be hitting theaters in summer. Idly Kadai marks Dhanush’s fourth directorial project, after Pa Paandi, Raayan, and NEEK.
As per the latest updates, Idly Kadai has been dubbed in Telugu as Idly Kottu. Noted Telugu distributor Chinthapalli Ramarao of Sri Vedhakshara Movies has acquired the rights to release Idly Kottu across the twin Telugu states and overseas. Chinthapalli Ramarao recently released Vijay Sethupathi’s Vidudala 2.
Idly Kottu has Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, and Raj Kiran in lead roles. Apart from playing the main lead and directing the movie, Dhanush has also produced it under his Wunderbar Films banner in association with the Dawn Pictures banner. GV Prakash Kumar is the film’s music composer.
