Looks like the controversy of stalling Padmaavat’s release has only helped the film. The historical drama has opened on a fabulous note and has collected 56 crores to date.
With the movie making 5 crores from the paid previews on Wednesday, rest of the 50 crores came in from the first two days of its release which is phenomenal. With the weekend on and great word of mouth, things look only positive for this film.
Ranveer Singh’s performance has also been quite appreciated all over. Directed by Sanjay Bhansali, Padmaavat also has Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone as the main leads.
