Ever since Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone has been announced as the female lead for Prabhas’ highly-anticipated 21st film, her remuneration has become a hot topic among the film circles.
A few days back, news came out that the talented actress is demanding a whopping of Rs 30 crores for the film. However, the news was trashed as a baseless rumor later.
Now, the fresh update from the media circles is that the makers have committed to pay Rs 20 crores as Deepika’s salary for the film. If the news is to be believed, the mentioned amount is quite a reasonable figure for a successful star like Deepika Padukone.
Touted as a sci-fi thriller, the film will be directed by Mahanati fame Naga Ashwin. Senior producer Ashwini Dutt will bankroll the mega-budget project.
