Rani Mukerji’s recent film Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway has been receiving great applause from celebrities. From King Khan Shah Rukh Khan to Tamil star hero Suriya the movie won the hearts of many. The film hit the screens yesterday.
The Rani Mukerji starrer has amassed 1.27 crores nett on its day one. The good word of mouth helped the film to an extent, and the occupancy increased for the night shows yesterday. Hence the prospects look favorable for the weekend.
The movie is based on the real-life incident of an Indian couple whose children are taken away by the Norwegian Childcare System on the grounds of improper treatment. Ashima Chubber directed this legal drama which also has Neena Gupta, Jim Sharabh, and Anirban Bhattacharya in key roles.
