Ever since the official announcement of Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda’s Fighter was made a couple of months ago, there have been a lot of speculations and hype around the film. This exciting project will be going on floors in January.
It’s been earlier reported that Fighter is a sports drama set in the boxing backdrop and that Vijay will be seen as a boxer in it. Now, a crazy rumor that started doing the rounds is that Puri is keen on roping in American boxing legend Mike Tyson for a key role in the movie. However, Puri’s production house has not made any official announcement regarding this speculation.
Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor will be playing the female lead opposite Vijay in this pan-Indian film. Karan Johar will be presenting the Hindi version. Stay tuned for further updates.
