Monica, the highly anticipated second song from Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming gangster drama Coolie, was released earlier today. Composed by star music director Anirudh Ravichander, the song features svelte beauty Pooja Hegde and acclaimed Malayalam actor Soubin Shahir.
And Soubin came out of syllabus while fans were prepared for Pooja Hegde. No one was expecting the phenomenal performer to rock the dance floor with his energetic moves. Despite sharing the screen with a sizzling diva, the lone Pooja Hegde, Soubin managed to steal the show as he grooved to Anirudh’s peppy beats.
Master filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj proves yet again that he surely knows how to mesmerize audiences. The fact that the Monica song didn’t need Rajinikanth’s presence to go viral is proof of Lokesh’s talent and command over his craft.
Coolie also features Tollywood star Nagarjuna, Bollywood star Aamir Khan, Sandalwood star Upendra, Tamil star heroine Shruti Haasan, and several other popular Indian actors in prominent roles. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on August 14, clashing with Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s highly anticipated spy thriller, War 2.
