The biggest cinematic showdown on this Independence Day weekend happened between two star-studded movies – Coolie and War 2. While Rajini leads the former, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR headline the latter.
Both movies released to mixed reactions, but one sure thing is that both posted solid Day 1 collections. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, both films recorded strong ticket sales.
War 2 and Coolie are neck and neck in ticket sales on the BookMyShow portal. While War 2 clocked 677.31K tickets, Coolie sold 623.55K plus 91.14K (Hindi alone), totaling 714.69K tickets. The Rajinikanth-starrer currently holds a slight lead, but there is still a chance for War 2 to dominate in hourly sales.
