Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie is now streaming on Prime Video in South Indian languages. The film features Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan in a special cameo. Aamir earlier said he acted in the film out of respect for Rajini and that he didn’t even know the story.
A news clip has been going viral on social media since the afternoon, claiming that Aamir was disappointed with the way Lokesh Kanagaraj designed his role and that it had no real purpose. However, the truth is that Aamir never made such a statement, and the clip seems to have been planted by hatemongers to tarnish Aamir and Rajini’s reputation.
Coolie, produced by Sun Pictures, also features Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, Rachita Ram, Sathyaraj, and others in key roles. Pooja Hegde sizzled in a special song. Anirudh Ravichander composed the tunes.
