It’s been a long time since controversial actress Kangana Ranaut tasted theatrical success. Despite experimenting with multiple genres, she hasn’t been able to deliver a hit in recent years. Now, Kangana seems to have decided to play it safe by banking on sequels to her biggest hit films.

According to a recent report in Pinkvilla, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up to reunite with Vikas Bahl and Anand L Rai for Queen 2 and Tanu Weds Manu 3, respectively. The report stated, “Kangana Ranaut is all set to start shooting for the Queen sequel from November 2025. Vikas Bahl has locked the script and is presently on a recce in the UK. Much like the first part, the sequel too will be set in India and overseas.”

The team is reportedly confident about the script. After wrapping up Queen 2, Kangana is expected to move on to the third installment of the Tanu Weds Manu franchise. The script for the threequel is also said to be completed, and it is likely to be Anand L Rai’s immediate project after Tere Ishk Mein. It remains to be seen if these sequels can bring back Kangana to form.
