It is a known fact that Mani Ratnam is doing an epic drama called Ponniyan Selvan with a heavy-duty star cast. The shooting of the film is happening in Pondy as of now.
The update now is that Mani Ratnam has decided to release the film in two parts and the first part will be out in early 2022. A new poster of the film was also revealed as part of the promotions.
