Comedian didn’t charge a penny for his debut film as hero

Rising comedian Saptagiri turned hero with the recently released comedy entertainer, Saptagiri Express. The film is doing decent business in B and C centres across the twin Telugu states.

In his latest promotional interview to a popular Telugu news daily, Saptagiri revealed that he has not charged a single rupee as his remuneration for Saptagiri Express and instead asked the film’s producer Ravi to invest that money in the making of the movie. The actor also said he will continue to act as a comedian.
