Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girl Friend is scheduled for a grand release on November 7, 2025. The romantic drama is directed by Rahul Ravindran and features Deekshith Shetty as the male lead. Anu Emmanuel plays a key role.
According to reports, Rahul Ravindran initially approached Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a key cameo, but the sensational filmmaker is said to have rejected it since the role is more than a cameo. Later, the Chi La Sow director reportedly offered the role to Vennela Kishore, but since he also turned it down, Rahul Ravindran himself ended up doing it.
The director also appeared in the trailer, which stirred discussions online, and we need to wait a few more days to know what the film has in store. The Girl Friend is produced by Vidya Koppineedi and Dheeraj Mogilineni under the banner of Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment. Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts is the presenter, while Hesham Abdul Wahab is the music composer.
