CM Revanth Reddy Meets Film Industry Workers, Promises Support, Health Insurance and Skill Development

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy recently met with representatives of the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation to talk about the welfare of cinema workers and the growth of the film industry. He said Hyderabad should become a major film hub like Hollywood and asked workers to share their problems and needs with the government.

The meeting included Dil Raju (Chairman, Telangana Film Development Corporation), Vallabhaneeni Anil (President, Telugu Film Federation), Ammiraju Kaanumilli (Secretary, Telugu Film Federation), and other union representatives.

The CM said that a positive work environment is very important and warned that strikes or disputes hurt both workers and producers. He promised that the government will help resolve issues and support film workers.

CM Revanth Reddy also talked about skills training. He said the Skills University will run programs to improve the technical and professional abilities of cinema workers. He asked all producers, especially those making smaller films, to cooperate and encourage shooting of films in all languages in Telangana.

The Chief Minister highlighted government welfare initiatives, including the Gaddar Awards for artists after a long gap and plans to provide health insurance for film workers. He assured that the government will take responsibility for workers’ welfare and work closely with the industry to solve problems.
