It’s been earlier reported that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita Konidela and her husband Vishnu Prasad are foraying into feature film production with the low budgeted romantic comedy, Sridevi Shoban Babu. Starring young actors Santhosh Shoban and Gouri Kishan in lead roles, the film has hit the silver screens today.
Now, the latest update is that Sushmita and Vishnu Prasad have sold Sridevi Shoban Babu’s digital streaming rights to the leading OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar. The film’s digital premiere date will be announced in a few weeks. Debutant Prasanth Kumar Dimmala has directed the movie.
In the past, Sushmita and Vishnu Prasad had produced two web-series, Shootout at Alair and Senapathi under their Gold Box Entertainment banner.
