The first single from Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi is coming out tomorrow. Titled Chikiri Chikiri, it is a romantic song composed by A.R. Rahman and shot on Charan and the leading lady Janhvi Kapoor. The promo has met with a solid response, with netizens already grooving to Charan’s hook step.

Director Buchi Babu Sana and his team have decided to give a sweet shock to fans. Moving away from the usual lyrical video format in Tollywood, the makers will unveil the full video song at 11:07 AM tomorrow. Releasing video songs prior to the film’s release is a practice commonly followed in Bollywood to reach a wider audience.

Big-budget films from Tollywood usually don’t follow this approach, but Peddi makers are set to begin the musical promotions in a refreshing way and if this strategy clicks, more filmmakers might follow suit.
