National Award-winning Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal’s acclaimed historical drama, Chhaava, is going great guns at the box office across the country, especially in Maharashtra. Also starring Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the film is setting new benchmarks in Bollywood with its stupendous run.
On its second Sunday, Chhaava collected a whopping Rs 41.10 crore nett, taking its 10-day India total to Rs 334.51 crore. While the film is set to enter the Rs 400 crore club by this weekend, the coveted Rs 500 crore club is surely in sight for this biopic on legendary Maratha warrior Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. In a stunning feat, Chhaava (Rs 109.23 Cr) surpassed all the Bollywood movies and stood next only to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs 128 Cr) in its second weekend collection.
