Bollywood’s recent release Chhaava is dominating the box office and shows no signs of slowing down, even as it enters its third week. Directed by Laxman Utekar, this historical saga features Rashmika Mandanna in the lead female role.
On its third Saturday, the film created a sensation by collecting Rs. 22.50 crore nett, surpassing the third Saturday collections of Pushpa 2 (Rs. 20.50 crore) and Stree 2 (Rs. 17.40 crore). Its phenomenal run continues, shattering records along the way.
Currently, the total stands at nearly Rs. 447 crore nett, and the film is racing toward the Rs. 500 crore milestone, aiming to set a new benchmark in Bollywood history.
The Telugu version is set for a theatrical release on March 7, 2025, and its performance in Telugu markets will be crucial.
The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Diana Penty, and others in key roles. AR Rahman composed the soundtrack, while Maddock Films produced the film.
