After the success of the KGF series, director Prashanth Neel once again created a sensation with Prabhas’ Salaar. The film performed well at the box office and garnered huge appreciation on OTT platforms as well.
Neel is now collaborating with Tollywood star NTR on a high-octane action drama, tentatively titled Dragon. The film is being jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. Both NTR and Prashanth Neel are reportedly receiving hefty remunerations for this much-awaited project.
According to latest reports, Prashanth Neel has demanded a 50 percent share in the profits, in addition to his director’s fee. Interestingly, Mythri Movie Makers is said to have agreed to his demand, highlighting the director’s strong market value and the scale of the project.
Rukmini Vasanth is said to be playing the female lead, while Ravi Basrur, Neel’s frequent collaborator, is composing the music. The film is scheduled for a grand release on June 25, 2026, and expectations are sky-high.
