Sandalwood’s sensational hit, Kantara, is gearing up for a prequel titled Kantara: Chapter 1, officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony and the unveiling of a captivating first look and teaser that resonated well with the audience.
The latest buzz suggests an ambitious plan to cast over 15 actors from Tollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood, and Bollywood, aiming to give the film a distinctive pan-Indian appeal. Although it’s currently a rumour, the potential inclusion of diverse talent is anticipated to elevate the film’s tremendous success.
Notable actors, including Rishab Shetty, Saptami Gowda, Kishore, and others, are set to play pivotal roles. Under the direction of Rishab Shetty, the shooting is scheduled to commence either in mid-December 2023 or January 2024.
Boasting substantial financial backing from Hombale Films, Kantara: Chapter 1 is poised to become Sandalwood’s most expensive production. Ajaneesh Loknath is entrusted with the musical composition.
