Period action drama Captain Miller will be Dhanush’s next release. The actor made his Bollywood debut with the film Raanjhanaa directed by Aanand L Rai, and it emerged as a box-office success. Later the actor acted in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangie Re which also starred Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan.
This fantasy comedy film had a direct OTT release on Disney Plus Hotstar, and it attained a good response. The latest buzz in the Bollywood film circles is that Dhanush would work with Aanand L Rai for the third time. A few reports claim that the announcement will come at the earliest.
An official confirmation is awaited. If this materializes, it will surely cement the actor’s position in the Hindi film industry. Apart from Captain Miller, Dhanush also has a trilingual (Telugu- Tamil -Hindi) film with Sekhar Kummula, which will be produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao.
