Superstar Mahesh Babu returned to India after a short vacation with his family. Very soon, he will join the shoot of his new film, which Trivikram Srinivas is directing. This film is tentatively titled SSMB 28, which was announced to release on 28th April 2023.
On the other hand, it was already confirmed by Karthi and Mani Ratnam earlier that the shooting of Ponniyin Selvan 2 was completed long back. This Tamil biggie is right now in the post-production stage.
The hot buzz in the industry circles is that the makers of this Kollywood biggie are planning to release the movie on 28th April 2023, and if this happens, it will clash with SSMB28, which is indeed huge news.
PS:2 looks to make a considerable amount from the Telugu states, and also SSMB 28 might not get enough screens in Tamilnadu if the clash happens. Hence it will be exciting to see how both teams tackle this situation. Interestingly Mahesh was supposed to do one of the roles in PS but missed out as the film didn’t start back then.
