In a tragic road accident early this morning, actor Shine Tom Chacko’s 70-year-old father, Sibi Chacko, lost his life near Bengaluru. As per media reports, the mishap occurred around 7 AM near Palakottai, close to Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu, when the family’s car crashed into a lorry that was ahead.
Shine Tom Chacko, along with his mother, brother, and the driver, sustained injuries in the collision. All were promptly taken to the government hospital in Palakottai for medical treatment. Sibi Chacko suffered severe injuries, which resulted in his death on the spot.
The remaining family members are currently receiving treatment. Shine Tom Chacko reportedly suffered a fracture. More details are awaited. The Malayalam actor is known in Telugu for films like Dasara, Daaku Maharaaj, and Rangabali.
