Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is gearing up to entertain his fans in Mass Jathara, directed by Bhanu Boghvarapu. Sreeleela is paired opposite him in this massy entertainer, which is set to release on October 31, 2025.
The star recently began promoting the movie, and during an interview with director Venky Atluri, the latter revealed an interesting detail that very few are aware of.
Venky Atluri directed Sir / Vaathi with Dhanush in 2023. But before approaching Dhanush, Venky had reached out to Ravi Teja for the film. In his words, “During the COVID times, I called Ravi anna and told him about Sir, but he said he was packed with films and asked if I could wait or go with another hero, as he doesn’t like to put anyone on hold.”
“Things worked out in the following months, Dhanush agreed to do it, and the film was completed. After the release, Ravi anna appreciated my choice of actor and congratulated me on the success. On top of that, he said it might not have been as good if he had done it.”
Some fans were upset over the missed opportunity, while others appreciated the actor’s respect towards the director.
With Mass Jathara coming at the end of this month, fans can’t wait to see Ravi Teja’s energetic performance on the big screen. The film is a joint production between Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Bheems Ceciroleo composing the music.
