God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next release is the most awaited movie of the year – Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. The biggie, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, is set for a grand multilingual release on December 5, 2025.
The makers have confirmed that the censor formalities are complete and the film has received a U/A certificate. It is reported that the runtime will be around 2 hours and 25 minutes, although an official confirmation is still awaited.
Expectations are decent for this sequel, which is said to feature more intense moments and goosebump-inducing scenes that are expected to thrill fans.
Samyukta plays the female lead, while Aadi Pinishetty appears as the antagonist. Harshaali Malhotra, Kabir Duhan Singh, Poorna and others are part of the supporting cast. The film is produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, with Thaman composing the music. It is also confirmed for a 3D release.
