The special version of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, titled Baahubali: The Epic, hit theatres today after paid premieres last night. While many are appreciating SS Rajamouli’s idea and the way the film has been put together, people from Karnataka are not happy with one major change.

Kannada star Kichcha Sudeepa, who appeared as Aslam Khan in Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), has been completely removed from the new cut. This decision didn’t go well with Kannada fans, who feel Rajamouli shouldn’t have taken out the scene. Many expressed anger online, saying it was unfair to ignore Sudeepa’s role and even mentioned boycotting the movie.

It remains to be seen if Rajamouli will respond to the criticism. The film stars Prabhas and Anushka Shetty in dual roles, along with Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishna, Satyaraj, and Tamannaah Bhatia. Music is by MM Keeravaani, and the film is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Mediaworks.
