Dulquer Salmaan is busy promoting his next release, Sita Raman. On the other hand, the makers of of his yet another film, Chup, released a small teaser on the occasion of legendary filmmaker Guru Dutt’s birth anniversary. It comes with the tagline ‘Revenge Of The Artist’.
The film marks the return of well-known director R. Balki after Padman. Amitabh Bachchan launched the teaser. We can see Dulquer making a bouquet with paper and Shreya Dhanwanthary saying ‘Kaagaz Ke Phool’. Kaagaz Ke Phool, a romantic drama, directed by Guru Datt received a lot of criticism back then.
Director R. Balki says the film is a tribute to Guru Datt. The film also stars Sunny Deol and Pooja Bhatt in key roles.
Bankrolled by Gauri Shinde, R Balki, and Rakesh Jjunjhunwala, it has music by Amit Trivedi. The release date will be announced shortly.
