Uunchai, which has Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role, got released in theatres last Friday. The film is off to excellent word of mouth and promising reviews from critics. The movie collected a very good amount in its first weekend.
The film is recording very good occupancies even on weekdays. As per the PR, the movie minted 1.76 crores on Tuesday, which is a terrific hold on a working day. The drop from the first Monday is just around 6%, and the film will look to make in some good amount over the coming days.
Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, and Neena Gupta played important roles. The film is produced by Rajshri Productions, Boundless Media, and Mahaveer Jain Films. It is directed by Sooraj Barjatya, who delivered some classics like Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hai Kaun.
