Rumours have been circulating online about Hanu-Man fame director Prasanth Varma regarding his remuneration. Reports suggest that the director allegedly took unreturned advances of around Rs. 80–100 crore from several top producers for undelivered projects. He is said to be overcommitted with PVCU ventures, having invested heavily in a studio, and may reportedly face action from the industry chamber.

Producer DVV Danayya’s name has also been linked to these rumours. To clarify, the makers released a statement confirming that there has been no financial transaction, agreement, or professional association between director Prasanth Varma and DVV Entertainment. They also urged media outlets to verify facts and post only reliable news before taking names.

On the other hand, Prasanth Varma is currently serving as the creator for Adhira, the maiden film of DVV Danayya’s son, Kalyan Dasari. It remains to be seen how the project shapes up from here.
