Many netizens demanded that Rajendra Prasad issue a public apology. Responding to the criticism during the success meet of Shashtipoorthi, Rajendra Prasad stated that if people misunderstood his words, it was their problem, not his, and he wasn’t concerned about the reactions.
In response, Ali released a video clarifying his stance. He said Rajendra Prasad is a senior actor, and it was merely a slip of the tongue. He added that he holds no grudge and urged everyone to move on and not blow the issue out of proportion.
