Young hero Akhil Akkineni-starrer latest movie Agent has been bombed at the box office. Directed by Surender Reddy, the movie failed miserably to entertain audiences. Sakshi Vaidya is the leading lady in this pan-Indian spy thriller.
Today, the film’s presenter Anil Sunkara took to his Twitter profile and wrote, “We have to take the entire blame for Agent. Though we know it’s an uphill task, we thought of conquering but failed to do so as we did a blunder starting the project without a bound script & innumerable issues including covid followed.”
He further added, “We don’t want to give any excuses but learn from this costly mistake and see how we can turn around to make sure, we will never repeat the mistakes. Our sincere apologies to all those who put trust on us. We will make it up for the losses with dedicated planning & hard work in our future projects.”
Malayalam star Mammootty played a pivotal role in this movie, which also has Dino Morea, Sampath Raj, Vikramjeet Virk, Posani Krishna Murali and others in key roles. Produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara of AK Entertainments, the spy thriller has music composed by Hiphop Tamizha.
