Akhanda 2 release: AP government issues fresh G.O. with hiked rates

After facing many obstacles, Akhanda 2, headlined by Balakrishna, is finally slated to hit the big screens on December 12, 2025. The announcement came a while ago, and now the AP government has issued a fresh G.O. with enhanced ticket prices.

Accordingly, the premiere shows on December 11 (between 8 PM and 10 PM) will be priced at Rs. 600/- (inclusive of GST) in all centers. Starting from December 12, for a period of 10 days, the biggie will have a ticket rate enhancement of Rs. 75/- (including GST) in single screens, and Rs. 100/- (including GST) in multiplexes.

According to the new G.O., the ticket fare in single screens will be around Rs. 222.5/-, whereas the multiplexes will charge Rs. 277/- for the first ten days. Since the G.O. is out, the bookings can start any minute now.

Samyukta, Aadi Pinishetty, and Harshaali Malhotra of Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame play crucial roles. Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are producing this flick under the banner of 14 Reels Plus. SS Thaman is the music composer.
