Vidaamuyarchi, starring Ajith Kumar, is set to hit theaters worldwide tomorrow in Tamil and Telugu. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, this action thriller features Trisha Krishnan as the female lead.
While the film has generated massive buzz in Tamil Nadu, the situation in the Telugu states is completely different. The Telugu version, Pattudala, has failed to create any excitement, with advance bookings remaining alarmingly low. The lack of interest from Telugu audiences suggests that the film has not connected with them, making its prospects in this region uncertain.
Apart from Ajith and Trisha, the movie also stars Regina Cassandra, Arjun Sarja, and others in key roles. Lyca Productions has bankrolled this big-budget film, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Asian Suresh Entertainment is handling the Telugu distribution.
