Tamil star Ajith is all set to play the lead role in the Tamil remake of ‘Pink’. He will be playing the role of a lawyer in this courtroom drama. The original version starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee won a lot of critical acclaim for its sensitive approach to dealing with the subject. Ajith is going to reprise Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the Tamil version.
For now, except for Ajith, the rest of the cast hasn’t been confirmed. Interestingly, H Vinoth, who made a big splash with Karthi’s Khakhi, is going to direct the film. Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor are going to produce the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja is likely to score music.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on Ajith’s upcoming action drama Viswasam, which also stars Nayanthara in a lead role. The film is gearing for release in January, 2019.
