Star Tollywood producer Dil Raju has scripted history by becoming the first Telugu producer to foray into Artificial Intelligence (AI) filmmaking. He launched Larven AI Studio in a star-studded event on Saturday. Telangana Minister for Information Technology and Industries, D. Sridhar Babu, formally inaugurated the facility.

Speaking at the event, Dil Raju said the idea of setting up an AI studio first occurred to him nearly two years ago. He collaborated with Quantum to explore the application of Artificial Intelligence in cinema in detail. “AI is the future of filmmaking. AI will be involved in all aspects of filmmaking, including pre-production, post-production, and promotions. With AI, we can pre-visualize a bound script into an entire film with sound effects and visuals. That is our primary goal,” said Dil Raju.

Dil Raju further said AI may increase the success rate of films. “We are already developing scripts for our upcoming productions using AI. Writers and directors can save time while producers can reduce expenses. This will pave the way to quality cinema. AI is like an assistant director without emotions,” he quipped.

Acclaimed filmmakers K Raghavendra Rao, Sukumar, Anil Ravipudi, V.V. Vinayak, Vamshi Paidipally, Nag Ashwin, Bobby Kolli, Mohanakrishna Indraganti, and others graced this landmark event and lauded Dil Raju for introducing such advanced technology to Telugu film industry.
