Prabhas’ The Raja Saab teaser is all set for a grand unveiling in just a few hours. Expectations are soaring, as director Maruthi has promised fans a nostalgic treat, bringing back the vintage vibe of Prabhas in the teaser and the film.
Ahead of the big reveal, Maruthi took to social media to share a deeply emotional memory connected to his roots. He came across a cutout featuring him alongside Prabhas at Siri Complex (formerly Krishna Kishore) in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh – a place that holds special significance in his life.
Reflecting on the moment, Maruthi wrote: “This is the place where my father once had a small banana stall… Where I used to write for banners of all heroes’ films released in this theater, dreaming with hope :) I was one of those who wished, ‘Okkasari aina mana peru choodali ikkada.’Now, standing here and looking back at where it all began…Life has come full circle. And now, a cutout beside my pan-India star… Isn’t that enough? My father would’ve been so proud today. Missing you, Nanna.
He continued, “‘Thank you’ feels too small for the gratitude I carry right now. With all dues to clear, in our time… I now present our Darling in the element I dreamt of. Need all your blessings.”
The director’s heartfelt words struck a chord with fans, many of whom praised his journey from being a dreamer to directing one of India’s biggest stars. His post also hints at the passion and personal connection he has poured into The Raja Saab, adding to the excitement around the teaser launch.
Backed by People Media Factory, this pan-Indian horror comedy features a star-studded cast including Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt. Music is composed by Thaman, and the film is set for a grand global release on December 5, 2025.
