On December 1, 2025, ‘The Family Man’ creator Raj Nidimoru and ‘Citadel’ actress Samantha got married at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.
Before their wedding, Raj’s ex-wife Shhyamali De posted a quote on her Instagram (IG) Story that read, “Desperate people do desperate things.” A day after the marriage, she shared a photo of a galaxy with the caption “We are here,” hinting at how small we all are.
The posts drew media attention toward her, which made her upset. She then shared a series of stories on Instagram explaining that she is going through a very difficult time because someone very close to her has Stage 4 cancer. She said she wants her online space to stay calm and clean.
She added that she isn’t seeking attention, drama, media coverage, promotions, or sympathy. She is handling everything on her own and only wants privacy and a negativity-free space.
