Superstar Krishna, a late legend and notable actor in Tollywood, played a significant role in transforming the fate of the industry. He was the first actor to introduce several new technologies such as 70 MM, Cinemascope, Eastman Colour, and DTS to TFI, and also starred in the first cowboy and spy movies.

Now, after 52 years, one of his classic films and India’s first cowboy movie Mosagallaku Mosagadu, directed by KSR Das, is all set for a grand re-release in theaters. The blockbuster film, featuring Vijaya Nirmala as the female lead, will be released on May 31, 2023, to mark the star actor’s birth anniversary.

Ardent fans of Krishna can relive the classic tale in 4K format. The cast also includes Rao Gopal Rao, Gummadi, Mukkamala, Dhulipala, and others in significant roles. Padmalaya Studios produced the film, with P Adinarayana Rao providing the music.
