Released on October 19 as a Dasara festive treat, Balakrishna’s action family entertainer, Bhagavanth Kesari, continues its solid show at the box offices worldwide. The film utilized the festive holiday advantage to the fullest and performed exceptionally at the ticket counters across the globe in its first week.
In its first week, until October 25, Bhagavanth Kesari collected a cool Rs 56.50 crore share from a gross of Rs 112.18 crore in India and overseas, with nearly Rs 45 crore share collected in the Andhra, Nizam and Ceded regions. What’s impressive is that the film performed quite well even on Wednesday, after the extended festive season. Going by the current trend, Bhagavanth Kesari is poised to end up as the highest grosser in Balayya’s career.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Bhagavanth Kesari has Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela and Arjun Rampal in lead roles. Produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, the film has its soundtrack scored by Thaman.
