Director Ajay Bhupathi’s RX 100 was a sensational blockbuster. The director’s second film, Mahasamudram, failed to meet the expectations. Now, he is coming up with Mangalavaaram, which has Payal Rajput in the lead role. The teaser was well received by audiences. Today, the film’s theatrical trailer was launched by Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Going by the trailer, the film deals with mysterious deaths that take place in a village every Tuesday (Mangalavaaram). Villagers are perplexed by the deaths and try to unravel the mystery. On the other hand, we are shown Payal Rajput’s character, too. Who is behind these deaths? Is it some supernatural power, or are any humans involved? This is what Mangalavaaram is about.
The sound design, visuals, and background score are exemplary in Mangalavaaram’s trailer. The production values are excellent, and it seems that the makers have spent a bomb on the film. Of late, there has been a talk that most Telugu films are lagging in technical aspects, but Managalavaaram’s trailer is sure to give a ray of hope. The storyline is interesting, and we must see how Ajay Bhupathi would have presented it.
Once again, Payal is essaying a bold role. Mangalavaaram is produced under A Creative Works and Mudhra Media Works. Ajaneesh Loknath of Kantara and Virupaksha fame is composing the tunes. The movie will have a multi-lingual release on 17th November. Let’s see if Ajay Bhupathi can bounce back with Managalavaaram.
