Yesterday, a rumour swirled online that Meenakshii Chaudhary is roped in to play the female lead, and today a new buzz is making waves online.

According to the latest grapevine, the veteran actor Mic Mohan is cast in a pivotal role in the movie. However, as of now, neither of these pieces of news has been officially confirmed by the makers.

Thalapathy 68 will commence with a pooja ceremony today and shooting tomorrow, according to the reports. AGS Entertainments will bankroll the project, and Yuvan Shankar Raja is the tunesmith.
