A few days back, it was announced that Siva Karthikeyan’s Maaveeran would arrive in theatres on 11th August 2023. Directed by the National Award winner Madonne Ashwin, the movie carries good buzz in Tamilnadu. Aditi Shankar is playing the female lead in this flick.
Now the talk in Tamil film circles is that the Siva Karthikeyan starrer would prepone to July as Superstar’s Jailer is releasing in August. Jailer is one of the most anticipated films in Tamil due to the star power of Rajini and its massive cast. Hence if Maaveeran releases alongside Jailer, the former might get affected immensely with regard to theatre count and collections.
The official announcement about the preponement is expected to come out soon. Maaveeran will release as Mahaveerudu in Telugu. Produced by Arun Viswa under Shanthi Talkies, Bharath Sankar is composing the tunes. Mysskin, Yogi Babu, and Sunil are playing key roles.
