War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles, is all set to hit the big screens on August 14. The makers kicked off the promotional campaign by unleashing the teaser on NTR’s birthday. Ayan Mukerji directed this spy action thriller.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the teaser of War 2 will air during the IPL final. The report mentioned, “YRF has secured prime advertising slots during the IPL 2025 Final. These promos are expected to play during innings and over breaks – traditionally the most-watched television events in India.”
Reportedly this strategy is for maximizing visibility across a broad and diverse demographic. The biggie also features Kiara Advani, who plays Hrithik Roshan’s romantic interest. War 2 clashes with Rajinikanth’s much anticipated Coolie at the box office.
