Delhi actress Payal Rajput has been mostly seen in ultra glamorous roles until now. For the first time, Payal has signed an out-and-out serious, author-backed role in an upcoming cop drama, titled 5Ws. Payal plays an IPS officer in the movie.
At a recent promotional event, Payal said that she was inspired by former heroine Vijayashanthi and her cop roles as part of the preparation for her role. Payal is confident that 5Ws will break her glamorous actress image and bring accolades for her performance. The film is being directed by debutant Pranadeep Thakore.
