Hero Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen in the much-awaited romantic drama, Kushi. The film has Samantha playing Vijay’s love interest. The film’s theatrical trailer was launched recently and it has won the hearts of Vijay and Sam’s fans. In a latest interview, Vijay made some interesting comments on his role in Kushi.
Drawing parallels with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj character in the Pushpa series and Yash’s Rocky Bhai character in the KGF franchise, Vijay said he is neither Pushpa nor Rocky Bhai in Kushi. He went on to add that we enjoy and celebrate Pushpa or KGF as a fan. “You know you are Viplav and Aradhya (Sam) is your wife or girlfriend when you watch Kushi. Vijay concluded that Kushi is the story of any regular couple, and that’s what makes Kushi a special film.
Kushi is directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced on Mythri Movie Makers banner. The film’s soundtrack is composed by the young Malayalam music director Hesham Abdul Wahab. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas on September 1.
