The much-awaited teaser for Yatra, the prestigious biopic on former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy, is out at the stroke of the midnight hour, on the occasion of YSR’s birth anniversary. Even though it’s less than a minute in duration, the teaser creates a moving impact.
Yatra’s teaser brings back the glorious memories of YSR’s historic Padayatra. The teaser showcases YSR leaving from his residence in Kadapa to reach out to the millions of common people in the undivided Andhra Pradesh. The inspiring background score by K adds a lot of depth to Mammootty’s monologue. The senior hero looks like a perfect find for YSR’s role and he also does a fine job with his Telugu dubbing.
Mahi V Raghav is directing Yatra. Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy are bankrolling the movie under 70mm Entertainments banner. The film also features Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedkar, Suhasini, Rao Ramesh and Anasuya in prominent roles.
