Soon after the results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections were announced last week, director Mahi V Raghav had announced Yatra 2, a sequel to his film on YSR’s historic padayatra, Yatra. Today, the director took to Twitter and revealed a few key details about the sequel.
Saying that YSR’s story is incomplete without YS Raja Reddy and YS Jagan, Mahi revealed that Yatra 2 will complete their story. He further said that he ended Yatra on YS Jagan only to take off the sequel from there. YSR’s Yatra started from his father grave and Jagan’s Yatra from his father’s #yatra2,” the director said.
While there have been non-stop speculations that Tamil star Suriya will play YS Jagan in Yatra 2, the NGK hero refuted the rumors recently and said that he is not part of the movie. The sequel’s pre-production work is underway at the moment.
