Sekhar Kammula is taking a big risk with his upcoming film ‘Anaamika’. The movie is an adapted remake of the Bollywood hit ‘Kahaani’ and that film has received a lot of acclaim for its tight screenplay and thrilling suspense element.
Sekhar Kammula has tinkered with the storyline and the basic concept. While Vidya Balan will be seen as a pregnant lady throughout the film, Nayanathara will be seen as a normal lady in the movie. Another significant change is also said to be present in the movie.
A film like Kahaani worked because of an airtight screenplay and a thrilling story. With these elements removed from the plot, Sekhar Kammula is taking a big risk. Will his gamble pay off in Telugu?
