Ever since he made his directorial debut with Dollar Dreams in the late 90s, acclaimed director Sekhar Kammula has mostly been directing feel good entertainers and youthful love stories. In fact, his upcoming film with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi is titled Love Story.
Meanwhile, buzz regarding Sekhar’s next project is in full swing in T-town circles. Apparently, Sekhar is planning to come out of his comfort zone and make a film in the thriller genre. Well, if the buzz turns out to be true eventually, it will definitely be a film to be watched out for.
In the past, Sekhar unsuccessfully directed the only thriller film in his career so far, Anaamika, the official Telugu-Tamil remake of the award-winning Bollywood thriller, Kahaani. We will have to wait for a couple of months more to get some clarity on Sekhar’s next project.
