Nithiin is going through a rough patch at the box office, with his latest outing Thammudu failing to create any buzz, despite being directed by Vakeel Saab’s Venu Sriram. Keerthy Suresh, too, is facing a similar slump post-Dasara, with her recent films underperforming and falling short of expectations.
Now, all hopes are pinned on Yellamma, directed by Balagam fame Venu Yeldandi. Known for his emotional storytelling, Venu’s second directorial is expected to bring something fresh to the table. Interestingly, the film was reportedly turned down by Nani and Sai Pallavi before Nithiin and Keerthy came on board.
With Dil Raju producing the project, expectations are high for a strong comeback. Both actors are in dire need of a solid box-office success, and Yellamma might just offer that opportunity, if the content connects with audiences. Time will tell whether this film can revive their careers, but for now, it remains one of the most closely watched projects in Tollywood.
