How many of you know that King Nagarjuna and versatile actor Jagapathi Babu are close friends? On his recent talk show, Jayammu Nischayammuraa, Jagapathi Babu spoke at length about his bond with the Tollywood King. Nagarjuna was invited as the guest for the first episode, where many interesting stories came to light.
Much to the surprise of everyone, Jagapathi Babu revealed that Nagarjuna once mopped a five-star hotel in Singapore. “Once Nagarjuna and I went to Singapore. One day, we set off a stink bomb in a five-star hotel’s corridor. The hotel management literally made Nag mop the floor,” he said.
Nagarjuna recalled that he partly remembers the mischievous act. Interestingly, it was Nag who inspired Jagapathi Babu to join the film industry. Back then, Jagapathi Babu worked in a furniture shop in Vizag and would spend his leisure time watching film shootings. Floored by Nag’s style and acting, Jagapathi Babu decided to make his way into Tollywood.
